Housekeeping Assistant
 
We are looking for a self-motivated individual(s) to join our busy, friendly housekeeping team part time or up to 32 hours.

Our housekeeping team are responsible for the thorough cleaning of the hotel bedrooms and public areas to ensure excellent standards of the cleanliness at all times. As part of the team you will ensure that high standards of hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel and assist in managing the day to day running of the laundry as required.
An eye for detail and a positive approach to this role is essential with experience desired but we will provide full training.

Length of shift will vary but are usually between the hours of 8-5. Hours can be flexible to work around school times if needs be.

Working weekends and bank holidays are vital for this role so please consider before applying

FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER

At the Glen-yr-Afon Hotel we are proud of our years of experience offering comfortable surroundings, superb food and personal service to all our guests whether they are holiday makers, business travellers or are visiting us for a special occasion.

We are currently seeking hard-working, independent and reliable staff to work the bars and front of house on weekends.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service

• Maintaining a high standard of care to both bars & restaurant

• Gain knowledge and actively endorse current promotions

• Taking orders and serving food

Experience & Requirements:

• Bar experience would be advantageous, not essential – training will be provided

• Must be over 18

• Must be able to work weekends, especially throughout the summer

• Confidence and motivation to work independently when required

We are currently looking for talented, skilled and passionate individuals to come and join our fun and friendly team. You will be working in a fast-paced, vibrant and dynamic kitchen.

The successful candidate will be a team player with energy, enthusiasm and a passion for cooking. Applicants will need to have their Basic Food Hygiene Qualification and will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role/environment.
